On an island the tidal zone, the space where the land and sea meet, is the 'edge' that delineates the island's geographical space. But this is also a shifting space in which discarded, found and natural materials are collected and combined after the tide has washed away the previous landscape.

Touring Exhibition from Art on the Move
The works in this exhibition have been selected by South-West Nyungar artist Sandra Hill in collaboration of Dr John E. Stanton, Curator of the Berndt Museum of Anthropology. They have been chosed to promote a greater understanding of the correlation between history and the development of Aboriginal art in the South-West.
